BETEL NUT
Latin name: Areca Catechu
One type of monocotyledonous plant belonging to the palms. Areca nut belongs to the Arecaceae family in the Arecales order. This tree is one of the plants with high economic value and potential. SEPIAE
Latin name: Sepiae Esculenta
Cuttlebone is a hard brittle internal structure (an internal shell) found in all members of the family Sepiidae, commonly known as cuttlefish, within the cephalopods.
Benefits of cuttlebone is to stop bleeding, straighten the stomach and correct kidney deficiencies. Internally, it is taken to help stop uterine bleeding, enuresis and premature ejaculation. Some patients with stomach problems can use it to combat acid reflux disease and some intestinal disorders

BAMBOO CHAMPER / BAMBOO BIGAR
Latin Name: Tian Zhu Huang
Gigantochloa scortechinii and Schizostachyum zollingeri are types of bamboo that secrete a waxy layer or white crystals in the cavities of the stem segments. Shaped like sand or chunks of gravel. These lumps are often referred to as bigar bamboo, tabasheer bamboo or camphor bamboo. This type of white crystal-producing bamboo or bigar bamboo grows widely along rivers and inland forests of North Sumatra. Bigar bamboo is used as raw material for herbal medicine, antipyretic, antispasmodic, antiparalytic and as an aphrodisiac.

CAT'S CLAW
Latin Name: Uncariae Ramulus et Uncus
Cat’s claw is a woody vine that may reach over 30 m in height into the rain forest canopy. The vine has hook-like thorns that resemble the claws of a cat, giving the plant its name and allowing the vine to attach to tree bark. The curved, hook like thorns grow at the base of the leaves. The yellow flowers are trumpet-shaped, either solitary or in axillary clusters, 3 inches long and 4 inches across. It has been used traditionally to treat intestinal complaints, asthma, wounds, cancer, tumors, arthritis, inflammations, diabetes, irregularities of the menstrual cycle, fevers, ulcers, dysentery and rheumatism.

GAMBIR
Latin Name: Uncaria Gambir
Gambir is a hot water extract from the leaves and twigs of the gambier plant which is deposited then shaped and dried, which functions as an astringent. Almost 95% of the production is made into this product, which is called betel bite or plan masala. The shape of the mold is usually cylindrical, resembling brown sugar. The color is blackish brown or yellowish. Gambir stimulates the release of bile so that it helps smooth the digestive process in the stomach and intestines. Other functions are as a mixture of medicines, such as burns, headache medicine, diarrhea medicine, dysentery medicine, mouthwash, thrush medicine, and skin pain medicine (applied).
